Pardner's Training

On October 29th Pardner was picked up to start his training. He is only 3 miles away but I feel the seperation, although I know he is being well taken care of, no can take care of him like I can.

On Tuesday, November 13th I was able to see him train for the first time. He was a different guy, he had a job to do and things to learn and he was doing the best he could to get those two things done the best way he knew how. To say the least I was impressed.
I will be seeing him every week from now on and I will be learning right along with him.

Annie

Farrier came today and was able to trim Annie all the way around. I was impressed, he was firm with her yet gentle. Told me she had alot of issues going on besides the knee, also hip and hoof problems. Possibly an abcess that has already blown and maybe another one starting, I'm to paint her hooves with iodine a couple of times a week.
She is in pain. I've started her on liquid cortaflex and will put her on MSM. Poor old girl deserves as much spoiling as possible.
